TERM 3 SPECIALTY WORKSHOPS
Sampler Quilt (Beginners)
Friday 25th July - 26th September (10 week Term) $220 + Kit
This is an excellent class for cutting and machine piecing techniques and will benefit the more experienced quilters also. Learn how to use these tools correctly and stitch an accurate 1/4" seam as you cut and sew the sampler blocks. (Teachers: Jacqui & Ann)
"Housemates" Club
Thursday 3rd July, 7th August, 4th September (Monthly) $60 + Kit
Using Blackbird Designs book "Home Sweet Home" to complete an amazing applique quilt. Club days provide plenty of extra tips, techniques and interaction with others (Teacher: Mary).
Vintage Club
Thursday 31st July, 28th August, 25th September (Monthly) $60 + Kit

Free Motion Quilting
Monday 21st July (9.30am - 3pm) $80 + Kit
Kathy Loftus introduces the ease of quilting your quilt. Showing you simple, effective techniques to accomplish the finishing touch, using the stipple foot attachment. (Teacher: Kathy Loftus) Payment to confirm booking is required.
Christmas Club
Monday 28th July, 25th August & 22nd September (Monthly) $60 + Kit
From decorating your home to gift giving ideas for family and friends, this monthly club also gives you gift presentation ideas, yummy recipes, lots of helpful hints and tips, 10% discounts for purchases on club days and extra special discounts only available to club members. (Teacher: Jill)

Beginner Classes - 5 lessons teaching the advantages of Nifty Notion Specialty rulers. Short cuts to quicker, more accurate, fabric saving 1/2 & 1/4 square triangles. (Teachers Ann & Jill)
Then in term 4 you could join the NNR Club
NNR Club - monthly gatherings that reinforce the knowledge of the rulers and guidance in modifying traditional instructions to the nifty way (Teachers: Ann & Jill) - Must complete beginners classes to join.
Fat Quarter Club (Intermediate)
Wednesday 30th July, 13th & 27th August, 10 & 24th September (5 Classes) $100 + Books
Expand your knowledge with variation of colours and patterns. This class held once a fortnight for five weeks will give you added skill using many ranges of fabric. We will show many fat quarter designs, scrap designs and blended quilts. Sharing fabrics together and getting an appreciation of the colour wheel. (Teacher: Jacqui) |
