Just 15 minutes south of Perth and 10 minutes from historic Fremantle, you’ll find Homespun Workshops in an old-fashioned shopping centre near the Leach Highway.

The spacious shop and large workshop area have a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for all stitchers, whether you’re a regular or just dropping by. The team are always ready for a chuckle, encouraging customers to “sit long, sew much and laugh often.”

There are daily workshops and there’s always someone available to offer advice. The great selection of classes – there are eight every week – cater for sewers of all skill levels, from beginner’s right through to advanced stitchers, with guest tutors sharing their skills. If that isn’t enough, there are also three club days each month and an annual quilting retreat – and then there’s the famous USA Tours.

The staff is experts on colour coordination and carries an enormous range of tonal fabrics to help you create a harmonious quilt. They also specialise in kits and can make one for any pattern in the store or on the website. One favourite creation is the Mystery Quilt Kit – it’s especially popular with stitchers in remote areas and sewing groups.

Our shop is open Monday - Friday: 9.30am - 4.30pm and Saturday 10am - 2pm.
